Research on Mechanical Model of Canal Lining Plates under the Effect of Frost Heaving Force

Frost heaving damage of canal lining in cold and dry areas is one the important causes leakage. In this paper, based on bending theory thin plate, a mechanical model under action frost force established solved. Through parametric engineering case analysis, following conclusions are drawn: force, moment, shear internal slope plate show nonuniform distribution, maximum values moment Mx normal stress ?x close to bottom third slope, which consistent with existing research practice.
